What: 54th annual World Championship Over-The-Line Tournament, sponsored by the Old Mission Beach Athletic Club
Location: Fiesta Island at Mission Bay

Dates: Tomorrow and Sunday, and July 21-22, 7:30 a.m. until dusk.

Attendance: About 52,000 people are expected to attend.

Players: More than 3,600 men and women are to compete on three-member teams, ages 18 to 85, in 10 age and gender divisions.

Men's divisions: Open, Century (players 30 or older, whose ages total 100 years or more), Canardly (age 40 or older), Cannever (50 or older), Cadaver (60 or older), Camummy (70 or older).

Women's divisions: Open, Century (players 30 or older, whose ages total 100 years or more), Canalways (40 or older), Caneasy (50 or older).

The game: Over-The-Line is a modified form of softball, played on sand, with no base running.

Shuttle buses: The South Mission Beach route travels to Belmont Park. It loads at the west end of the Bonita Cove parking lot on West Mission Bay Drive. Another route goes to the Linda Vista trolley station, where no parking is available.

Parking: Four-day permits on Fiesta Island are available for $25. Space is limited.
